For “Cutlery Series” I use silicone as a coating for the paper. Based on objects from the cutlery industry, I create a motif that is distinguished on the paper through fine metal or mineral dust. The shapes come from everyday table culture. Forks and knives are shown as negative silhouettes. Furthermore, industrial punching remnants are used as templates for the illustrations. The dust serves as a pigment and, as a deposit, indicates a temporary standstill.
